While Pendulum Glucose Control (PGC) was formulated for people with type 2 diabetes (T2D), we do have customers who don’t have T2D. PGC is generally recognized as safe (GRAS), and is considered a medical food, as defined by the FDA and section 5(b) of the Orphan Drug Act.

I don’t have T2D or prediabetes. Can I take PGC?
PGC is GRAS, and customers who take it for general metabolic health have reported a wide variety of benefits. This includes, but isn’t limited to:
- Reduced blood sugar spikes
- Reduced sugar cravings
- Weight loss
- Improved energy levels
- Improved sleep
- Reduced brain fog
Can I take PGC if I have prediabetes?
Our product is GRAS, and we have a number of customers who have prediabetes. When surveyed, they reported benefits, including but not limited to:
- Reduced blood sugar spikes
- Reduced A1C levels
- Improved bowel movements
- Improved energy levels
- Better sleep
- Weight loss
I have a medical condition that is not T2D or prediabetes. Can I take PGC?
While PGC is GRAS, it has not been tested in any of the following populations, so data is not available at this time:
- People with type 1 diabetes
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with PCOS or other metabolic disorders
Can children take PGC?
Our product is GRAS, but it has not been tested in people under the age of 18.
