Additionally, we have several preclinical and clinical assessments of safety using the Pendulum Glucose Control product. We have shown safety with healthy individuals taking up to 10x the recommended dose. The product was well-tolerated and did not result in increased adverse event rates compared to placebo in a 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled food trial. We have also performed and passed DNA sequencing analysis, virulence factor analysis, antibiotic resistance testing, pathogen testing, and toxicity studies. This and other available data on each individual strain was used to obtain generally recognized as safe (GRAS) designation.
